Spring School on Analysis
Last Announcement

Dear Colleague,

We are very pleased to have learned that you are interested in our Spring School, which will be organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, Prague.

The Spring School will be held at Paseky, April 23 - 29, 2000. The village Paseky lies on the slopes of the Krkonose Mountains, in North Bohemia. Lodging is organized in double and tripple bedrooms in a chalet. There are excellent conditions for sport activities: walking trips in the vicinity, mini-golf, fitness centre and sauna.
Please note that it is absolutely necessary to wear slippers in the chalet!

Program will consist of series of lectures on:

The conference fee is 320,- US dollars. Participants who have registred before February 15, 2000, will pay only 270,- US dollars. The organizers provided financial support to limited number of students.

(a copy of the transfer slip should be presented at the registration desk at Paseky). Unfortunately, cheques cannot be used and will not be accepted.

A special bus from Prague to Paseky and back is booked for the beginning and for the end of the Spring School. The bus from Prague will depart on April 23, 2000 at 4pm from Prague. All participants are kindly requested to meet at the entrance hall of the underground station Krizikova (line B).
To get there from the airport, take bus No. 119 to the underground line A terminal Dejvicka, then take line A to Mustek and switch to line B.
From the railway station take lines C and B to Krizikova.
Bus from Paseky will depart on April 29, 2000 at 9am and will be getting to Prague at 11.30am.

Important Warning !

According to a recently released law which is in power in the Czech Republic since January 1, 2000, all visitors who enter Czech Republic from abroad might be requested to present one photo (passport size), and a medical insurance certificate. They also might be requested either to prove that they possess financial means enough to cover the expenses connected with their visit (or that their expenses are prepaid) or to show a written invitation confirmed by the Czech Immigration Police with certificate not older than 90 days.
